Account Executive – Commercial Risk Team
Who We Are
Cornerstone exists to bring clarity to chaos. We help business leaders protect what matters and build what’s next through smarter risk management, transparent insurance strategy, and trusted advisory relationships. We don’t sell policies—we deliver confidence.
The Role
The Account Executive (AE) on the Commercial Risk Team is a strategic advisor and relationship leader. You own client relationships, drive renewal strategy, and partner closely with producers, account managers, and specialists to deliver tailored risk solutions that actually fit the business.
This is not a servicing-only role—and not a transactional one. It’s for someone who thinks like an advisor, communicates like a pro, and thrives in complex commercial environments.

· Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of middle-market and complex commercial clients
· Lead renewal strategy, coverage design, and risk planning conversations
· Translate client operations, exposures, and growth plans into clear, actionable insurance strategies
· Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure flawless execution, timelines, and deliverables
· Partner with Producers on client strategy, stewardship meetings, and growth opportunities
· Proactively identify coverage gaps, emerging risks, and value-add opportunities
· Coordinate with carriers, underwriters, and internal specialists
· Deliver confident, polished client presentations and recommendations
· Uphold Cornerstone’s commitment to transparency, independence, and doing what’s right
